
Tactical Medicine Course

When & Where
The three-day awareness level course will discuss the need for tactical medicine, the equipment used by law enforcement and tactical medics, and tactics used during these types of situations. Included in the course will be an emphasis on the role of a tactical medic and the officer’s self-care.
Students will be exposed not only to classroom learning; but also to hands-on experiences and scenarios. Students will conduct drills that include handcuffing, basic tactical operations, drags and carries, airway, patient assessment, and trauma care.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, and the Fraternal Order of Police Eastern Plains Lodge 61, there is NO COST for this course.
