Northeast Colorado
Our region covers 17,534 square miles along Colorado’s northern border. It connects with Nebraska and Wyoming to the north. It also connects with Nebraska and Kansas to the east. The Northeast Colorado RETAC has an estimated population of 803,157 in 2023. It is a crucial hub for emergency medical and trauma services across nine counties.
Our Consortium
Our consortium includes: Jackson, Larimer, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, Weld, and Yuma Counties.
Each county contributes to our region’s rich geographic and demographic tapestry, embracing diversity that both challenges and strengthens us. From sparsely populated areas to those experiencing rapid growth, we serve all.
Natural Wonders and Strategic Location
Our region boasts natural wonders like one national park, numerous state parks, and the convergence of two interstate highways. Bordering three states underscores our importance as a crossroads for emergency medical services.
