NCRETAC supports regional EMS and trauma care coordination by connecting healthcare providers to critical resources, data, and mutual assistance. This notice outlines how we handle information collected from visitors to our websites. It includes prospective participants (“Visitors”) and organizations using our Services (“EMS and trauma services”).
This Privacy Notice does not apply to third parties or their services. It also does not cover de-identified or anonymized data that cannot be linked to any individual. NCRETAC is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. This includes our EMS and trauma services partners. NCRETAC is not a covered entity under the HIPAA regulations. It is not required to comply with the standards for the protection of health information. These standards are outlined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. NCRETAC may participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) efforts with its constituents. However, it does not specifically collect or maintain identifiable patient care data.

If you are an EMS or trauma service account manager, we may collect your first and last name. We might also collect your email address. Additionally, organization name and job role information may be gathered. We may also collect your mailing address, username, and account password. Other information necessary for your participation in our Services may be collected as well.
Automatically collected information: We may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to collect your data. This data includes your IP address. It also includes the date and time of your visit. Additionally, it covers how you interact with our Sites and Services. This may include information from your mobile device or computer, including operating system, browser type, and links you clicked. This helps us provide a personalized experience, troubleshoot issues, prevent fraud, and monitor our Site’s performance.
